The best part?

You’re Not The Only One…

I’ve spoken with many designers who have an understanding of digital illustration yet are struggling with…

  • Creating illustrations specifically for logos

  • Vectorizing a Procreate illustration

  • Having to outsource everytime their client wants an illustration

  • Not knowing where to start when it comes to illustration

LET ME GUESS

You’ve Already Tried…

  1. Watching YouTube tutorials and scouring Google for tips while trying to piece all the tutorials together

  2. Trying to figure out Procreate on your own and being overwhelmed by all the brushes, tools, etc.

  3. Doing it yourself and getting frustrated (lol, I’ve been there.)

  4. Using stock illustrations, but they never match your design and look too generic.

  5. Hiring white label illustrators, but they aren’t in your client’s budget and don’t always align with your design style.

“I landed branding a dog-rescue client after posting my progress from this course on the first day! Since then I've had 3 logo inquiries which honestly for me is a lot in 2 weeks. I loved this course because it finally gave me work to post that I could feel proud of and was so excited to show off...”

COURTNEY L.

I’ve Been There, Seriously.

I didn’t grow up drawing (I know, I know- I’m one of the few creatives that wasn’t artistic at a very young age) and literally thought that drawing would be the class I failed in art school. In college, when I decided to learn Procreate, I spent hoursss piecing together various tutorials from Youtube, following illustrators on Instagram and practicing through trial and error to figure out how to get my proportions looking somewhat right.

I’ve always loved looking at illustrations, but the wide gap between the professional illustrations I was seeing vs. what I was creating, felt impossible to bridge. Luckily for me (and my clients), I’ve been able to bridge that gap through years of practice and developing my own cozy, vintage style. Being an illustrator has made me feel invaluable and irreplaceable to clients and has been a large reason for repeat clients wanting custom work.

So, I just want you to know that you’re not alone and I’ve been there. Struggling to put the tutorials together and overwhelmed by all of the possibilities. No clue where to start. Frustrated that everytime I wanted to add illustrations to my designs it felt like the quality of my work went down or I had to spend money on stock/outsourcing. I don’t want that for you!

After white labeling for brand designers, I found that most have an understanding of digital illustration, but find themselves in that gap between professional and beginner.

That’s literally why I created Foundations of Brand Illustration.

So that brand designers like yourself can learn a solid foundation when it comes to digital illustration.

Long gone are the days of having great illustration ideas in your head and then them falling short on paper.

FAQS

  • A: I go over the brushes that I use every time when creating a logo illustration, however I do not go over buying brush packs, importing them, etc.

  • A: I highly recommend having procreate before enrolling in this course as a large section of the course material does focus on procreate. However, I do go over how to illustrate in just Adobe Illustrator as well as drawing on pen + paper to get the hand drawn illustration feel.

  • A: Depends on what you’re wanting to get out of it! This course is really geared towards brand designers that are very new to illustration or want to learn Procreate. I’m sure you could still learn something new from it, but it might not be as impactful.

  • A: Nope! Lifetime access is included in the price and I plan on updating the course as time goes on.

  • A: I’ve created a Facebook group specifically for students in this course to ask questions, share work and find community with each other! I will regularly be checking this group for questions.

Sometimes it’s scary to learn something new, but your illustrations deserve to look as good on paper as they do in your head!
